The Gap Between Strategy & Execution

is Bigger Than You Think

Growth gets complicated when strategy, brand, marketing, sales, people, process, and technology have to work together. We bring the experience to see how it all fits, quickly find what’s getting in the way, and know what to fix first.

We work with founder-led B2B companies — typically in professional services, financial services, healthcare, or specialized business services — that are between $5M and $50M in revenue and hitting a growth ceiling they can't seem to break through.

The pattern is consistent: the business grew through exceptional delivery, relationships, and the founder's reputation. That model worked. But at some point, informal momentum stops compounding. Revenue becomes less predictable. Marketing investments produce activity without results. Sales hires struggle to replicate what the founder did naturally. The revenue system needs to be rebuilt — not patched.

My Approach

Build the system. Then run it.

01

Clarity before channels

Most marketing problems are positioning problems in disguise. Before building anything, I work to clarify who you're really for, what makes you different, and why that matters to the people you're trying to reach.

02

Systems over campaigns

One-off campaigns create noise. Repeatable systems create pipeline. I build the infrastructure — the processes, the measurement, the operating discipline — that makes growth sustainable.

03

Marketing connected to revenue

Marketing that doesn't connect to sales outcomes is a cost center. I work at the intersection of both — building the handoffs, the shared language, and the accountability that make revenue a team sport.

Background

Equally comfortable zooming out and getting hands-on.

I've built marketing functions from scratch, rebuilt ones that weren't working, and helped companies at inflection points figure out what comes next. That means I've done the strategy work — positioning, ICP definition, go-to-market planning — and the execution work — CRM infrastructure, content, demand generation, sales enablement, and measurement. I work in San Diego and Denver, primarily with founder-owned and family-owned businesses. I don't hand off a deck and disappear. I build what's missing, and I stay until it works.

Let's find out if there's a fit.

We work with a small number of clients at a time — founder-led companies between $5M and $50M that are ready to examine how their revenue system actually works, not just add another piece to it.
